I know it’s tempting to slack when things get hard. But here’s the thing: life doesn’t pause. Every moment you’re standing still, time is moving forward.

Time that you'll wish to get back when you grow older and closer to death.

1% daily is better than 0% daily.

Do something - even the smallest thing - to get closer to your goals each day. Don't stand still. Keep moving.

We have one life. Let’s make sure every day counts. Even a small step forward can make a world of difference.

This doesn’t mean you never take a breather — it means even in rest, have a direction. Resting is part of the process. Remember that.

The time to rest recharges us to go back to work with enough energy to fight - it serves a purpose.

But, when you use your time for rest to escape what you need to do that's where the issue lies.

You are not resting because you need to, but because you are lazy and want to procrastinate. You want to avoid the discomfort.

The fact is either your actions work to get you closer to your goals or they distance you from them. There's no in between.

Choose to live in so much alignment with your beliefs and purpose that everything in your life propels you forward to where you want to go.

The content you consume, the clothes you wear, the relationships you nurture, the food you eat, the work you do, etc.

Everything must serve a purpose in your life.

Actionable Step

Here’s a collection of actionable steps you can use in a daily basis to keep moving at all times towards your goals.

  1. Accept That Stagnation is Death

    You need be terrified of being stagnated. Don’t ever allow yourself to get too comfortable. Remember that when you stop, you’re constantly going backwards and your goals will get further from you. Keep moving. Always.

  2. Remember Why

    Why did you start? Remember this constantly. Remember why you need to do what you need to do. You better have strong motives, because when sh*t gets hard, they will push you away from laziness and get you back to work.

  3. Start Small, But Start
    Take one action today toward your goals — no matter how small. Write a paragraph, take a walk, or make a single phone call. Motion begins with one step. Focus on progress, not perfection. Acknowledge every bit of progress you make - even if small.

  4. Break the Cycle of Stagnation
    Feeling stuck? Change your environment or routine. Go for a walk, clean a room, or engage in something unfamiliar. Physical motion stirs mental motion. Just do something.

Keep applying these consistently and you will notice a change in your behavior. When faced with inaction you’ll react faster and get back to motion.
